Panel macro pdf export issues and title text rendering

We would like to use the panel macro to support template requirements we have to have solid heading sections that are a dark background with white text. 

1. # For the title text, we tried inserting white as well as the html code for white - but, it continued to render black, why?
2. When we exported the page to PDF, the background rectangular portion of the panel was over 6-7" in height vs just being the height around the title text.  How do we keep a standard panel height?

Just tried it out of curiosity.

I can enter colour names. Colours and the height of the title area are displayed correctly.

Perhaps something else is causing problems for you?
