Hi All,
We have a Parent / Page under which we have multiple Child pages. We would like to control / copy the child pages permission from Parent Page permission. Ex: If we add a new User/ group to Parent Page then all the child pages should be accessed by the User/ group. Would appreciate inputs here.

You do this with the page hierarchy, space permissions, and restrictions.
In the most simple case, look at the space permissions. These apply across the whole space, so you don't need to think about sharing or copying permissions down. Add a new group to "can use space" and everyone in that group can see and use the pages.
Restrictions are the only things you might need to look at. You can put a restriction on a page for viewing and editing. So, you can say "Alice and Charlie can both view and edit the space via their space permissions", but then restrict a page so that only Alice can edit it, or only Bob can see it, and so on.
These do not override the space permissions, they still obey them (so if you add your new starter "Bob" to a view restriction, Bob will still not see the page, until you add Bob to the space permissions as well)
View restrictions cascade down. If you restrict a page's view, then all the pages beneath it in the tree get the same restriction.
Edit restrictions do not cascade, you have to set them on each page you want to protect.
