Hello,
We are about to Launch a new KB in our organization, and i would like to be able to share it as a "stand alone" link without the need in our Jira system
For that - I have to be able to ask for user name & password. is it possible to have the KB as a password protected system?
Thank you in advance
Keren
Yes, just don't grant "anonymous" access to the space. People will be forced to log in to be able to see it, using a username and password.
Thank you Nic for the rapid reply, The thing is that they are not users within Atlassian.. .they are customers and i don't want to create (and pay) for each user. is it still possible?
Thanks!
Keren
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
No. The only way to have non-user access is to enable anonymous access without logging in. Which removes the need for a username/password check.

Anonymous means "not logged in", not "logged in, but not named in permissions".
It's counter-intuitive, but technically right. Try logging out and visiting the page again.
