We have defined a task list in a Confluence page. It would be useful to summarize the progress towards completing the task list without having to count the checkmarks.
How can we add a widget displaying the percentage of tasks that have been marked as complete (by checking them off)?
Hi @Brylie Christopher Oxley ,
You may use the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app.
Use the Table Toolbox macro to wrap your source table in the Pivot Table and Chart from Table macro and get the required result:
Here I've chosen to hide the source table for the screenshots to look more clear, but you may tick the corresponding options for the Pivot Table and Chart from Table macros and show your whole source table as well:
For showing task completion in Confluence Cloud you have two good options:
The Progress Bar macro from Simple Toolkit for Confluence. It automatically calculates completed vs total tasks and displays a clear progress bar right on the page.
If you need more advanced reporting, the Advanced Task Report for Confluence app provides powerful ways to aggregate tasks across spaces, filter them, and build detailed reports for project tracking.
So you can start with the lightweight Progress Bar for a quick visual indicator, or go with Advanced Task Report if you need deeper task management and reporting.
