Persisent Resolve Comment Notification Popup

After a few additions to our joint Confluence project, I added a couple of comments with my Bosses name identified.  He responded and then I resolved those comments.  Now, everytime he refreshes his overview (main) page he gets popups (1 for each resolved comment) stating Comment Resolved that shoes the original comment and replies.

Is this a known bug?  Is there anyway to clear that cache potentially?
