Hi there.
We have users that want to restrict their own personal space so that other users can only view/edit pages explicitly shared with them.
Obviously, you can edit the page restrictions and give certain users access. However, upon accessing they will get a page not found page.
Only if we give users space permissions with All / View will they be able to access the shared page.
But, this results in all users being able to click on the user's private space's personal home and view all recently updated pages and access them from there.
Is there no way to restrict access to only shared pages within a personal space?
Thanks.
Hi @Florian Hein ,
After granting users access in space permissions, the space owner should create two main pages.
Let us name them as Personal and Unrestricted. Grant required page permission on the Unrestricted page and move the pages which are viewed by other users in to Unrestricted.
Non shared pages can be moved under Personal.
Please note: Child pages inherit restrictions from Parent page
This is how the page hierarchy should look
