Pictures wrong orientation?

Hi all,

our users are beginning to upload pictures to the platform now.

Unfortunately most of the uploaded pictures are stored and showed in the wrong orientation. Most of them are showed upside down.

When I use a picture viewer on my PC (Irfanview for example), then irfanview shows the pictures in the right orientation.

Is there any known way to correct this issue?

@Thomas Deilerso it is my understanding, that this in an open issues for years now and atlassian is not willing to fix it?

I now have installed an add in named "rotate images for confluence".

Now we are able to manual correct the orientation.

Its just a workaround, but hey ...
