Confluence 4.3.2 on Windows 2008 R2 standard SP1 64 bit.
I have installed the PlantUML plugin.
It requires graphviz to do few displays (ex class displays). So installed graphviz-2.30.1.msi in D:\ (did not use standard c:\program files...) where our apps are installed. Set env variable GRAPHVIZ_DOT to D:\graphviz.2.30\bin\dot.exe as required.
Java SE rte 1.6.0 64bit server VM is instalked
CreateProcess failed, side-by-side are some key messages...
Is anyone using PlantUML with Conflucence on 64 bit OS??
Any help??
thanks
devendra
Hello Devendra,
Per the description that you've mentioned it seems that this behaviour is more related with the usage/config. of the plugin than Confluence, so in this case I would suggest you to make a contact with the provider of the plugin (avono AG), by the following:
+49 711 / 28 07 57 - 0
Probably they will be able to provide you a better assistance and help you to solve this problem. Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
LJ.
Hi Devendra,
we test the PlantUML plugin on a 64bit Windows (and other systems) before releasing it. Your problem has nothing to do with PlantUML or Graphviz itself but with libraries installed on your system as the error message "side-by-side configuration is incorrect" says.
Have a look at http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/43681/Side-by-Side-Configuration-Incorrect?fid=1551769
After you fixed that problem, you should be able to start dot.exe from a cmd shell. If that works, than the PlantUML plugin will work too.
