Hello!!!
We are looking for plugins for Confluence that can help us to publish different user manual versions.
We found Scroll viewports, scrolls for confluences and Translations for Scroll Documents.
Does anyone had worked whit these???
How is it going?
Thank you all!!
XOXO
Hey @Heydi Menéndez,
I know you're looking for "real" customers, but what kind of software company would we be if we didn't use our own products? 😄 I'm a member of the Scroll Documents team, so let me share at least a few words and resources with you. :) As you can imagine, we're heavily using multiple Scroll products to publish our product documentation for all products. If you would like, you can schedule a demo call with us here so we can show you how we use the tools and get into a discussion about your requirements.
Additionally, we recently published two customer success stories in our blog that might be an interesting read:
Elevating AppFox's Documentation with Scroll Viewport for Confluence
We also have a blog and webinar recording online about the use of multiple Scroll apps -> Transform Confluence Into a Fully-Featured Documentation Solution
And if you want to see more of Viewport in the wild, I recommend browsing the Atlassian documentation or the help center of Emplifi. The team behind the latter is made up of very passionate technical writers who not only love Confluence as a documentation solution both internally and externally but can also be a good inspiration when it comes to content design and structure of product documentation.
If you have any questions, please let me know, and I'm happy to answer them! :)
Best, Max
P.S. Thanks to @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- and @Rodrigo for their opinions on the tools. 🤘🏼
I've worked with the Scroll apps ini Confluence quite a lot. Generally, they cause very few problems for us (the only significant ones I've had were when using Scroll alongside Comala workflows a couple of times, and something that turned out to be a bug in Scroll versions that support pushed over to the developers and it got fixed in the next release - within 3 weeks of reporting it!).
So, for "how is it going?", I can simply say "very well". Good software, good support, and they do what we need them to do.

Buenos días @Heydi Menéndez!
In my personal experience, we had the chance to reach out to their team about bugs, how-to's, collaborations, and other general information. And while any app/service can be great, the quality of service is also important, which they fulfill. Plus, you can see their team is quite active in the community as well.
The only "downside" (from my pov, which is behind technical restrictions) is the macro compatibility, as some of them won't render once live.
Oh, and support for our app Viewtracker (by us, bitvoodoo) was recently implemented as well, in case you are interested in reviewing how your pages are being interacted with.
Mucha suerte y saludos!
Rodrigo
