Hi.
Is it possible, maybe through an addon, to display a Jira issue with selected fields in specific places as a Confluence page?
We would like to store all information of our portfolio epics in Jira but would have great use to display the information in a more document-like layout for stakeholders. My natural go-to option would be using Confluence somehow, but I cannot really find any good examples showing that it can be done.
I am not talking tables here, but one Confluence page per Jira issue. It is not enough just to get the data to display in Confluence. It has to be possible to control the layout. We will have to show both native Jira fields and custom fields.
Finally, but really a nice to have requirement, if it would be possible to update the field contents in Jira from the Confluence it would be useful.
Does anyone know if there are any ways to manage any or some of this?
Kind regards,
/Mats Rahm
I don’t know of any such addon. It is unclear to me how this would even work short of simply making the Summary the title of the page, followed by the description (forward/intro) then a bunch of fields listed with their values.
