Powerpoint files with versions not rendered in Viewfile Macro

When trying to display powerpoint files via the Viewfile macro rendering regularly breaks and nothing is displayed at all.

It seems like it is somehow connected to the versioning of attachements. When i put a copy of the ppt file to a new page the rendering works fine. As soon as i create a second version of the file the rendering is broken most of the time.

The macro tries to load the file and after some time display a broken link immage.

Deleting all but the current version does not help.

We are using Confluence 5.5.2.

The Stacktrace stated in this Bug here (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-25421) does not appear in our logfiles.

I suspect you have bump into this bug

which is going to be fix on confluence 5.6

Kindly wait for the new release and upgrade to the latest version to overcome this issue.

I am really not sure if that is the bug i bump into. The Exception stated in the bug does not appear in our log.
