Is there a way to create a set amount of permission presets at the space level in Confluence Cloud? For example, we often have external partners who need to collaborate on a particular project and we would like to be able to define a specific set of permissions that we can apply without having to manually set all the permissions each time in that specific space.
We also often have people who need read only permissions, or who need to be able to add attachments but not be allowed to delete them.
Does such an option exist?
So far, I haven't been able to find anything like that.
See https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/assign-space-permissions/ for details on how you can set permissions for individuals and groups within a space.
For example:
Thank you for your reply. This is information I already have. What I was referring to was more of a set selection of permissions that I can apply repeatedly to new users joining our Confluence site, like a pattern. I know I can set the permissions manually per space, but I would like to be able to save certain permission combinations as presets so I don't have to do it every time a temporary partner joins our site. I know I could theoretically create groups, apply certain settings and add the user to that, but that won't work for us.

@melanie_boehmer I found this similar post from last September with a response from an Atlassian team member that indicates that these variables are not available on templates: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Confluence-questions/Auto-Fill-in-Creation-User-and-Date-when-creating-a-page-out-of/qaq-p/2821338
The response contains links to related Jira tickets that you can comment on, vote for, and watch.
Sorry, I meant to post this response on a different question.
