Prevent jumping to the top of page when publishing

hpuc June 26, 2023

When I publish a page, the display always jumps to the top of the page, even if I was making changes at the end of the page. Is there any way to prevent that and to have the part of the page being displayed I was just working on after publishing?

Some data: I am using the "new" editor of Confluence Cloud on Windows (10 / 11 - same thing) and Chrome

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

This is not a Confluence problem,  it's the way browsers are intended to work.  New page = start at the top.

Hello @hpuc

That's by design. When you publish a page, you're no longer editing it, so it starts at the top because it refreshes the page.
