Prevent new users to watch a space by default

When a new user connects to Confluence for the first time, it is automatically added to the "Watch this space" list and receives all notifications regarding the space.

How do I change the defaults so that it does not occur?

Hi Emmanuel, I didn't found anything about space restriction only pages. But what I know for sure is that new users only have access to visit, watch, etc... Spaces they create other than that must be given permission.
