Hello,

the last couple of weeks I have been trying to create a Macro for Confluence.

I have been following the Instructions on a few Community-Pages like:

https://developer.atlassian.com/server/confluence/creating-a-new-confluence-macro/

and

https://developer.atlassian.com/server/framework/atlassian-sdk/set-up-the-atlassian-plugin-sdk-and-build-a-project/

After trying really hard I managaed to create a project and start up a local Confluence-Instance to test my Addon.

But there is one Problem:

On the Addon page where i can see the installed addons, I see my addon with a message:

This add-on could not be loaded. It has one or more errors that prevent its activation.

I am new to Confluence-Plugin-Development and even to Java-Development so I have no idea what I could do to resolve this.

I would be thankful if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks for the Help

A full stack trace of the error would be really helpful.

Also have a look at the following repo https://bitbucket.org/viqueen/confluence-community/ which contains a working plugin project.

Try starting off of that repo and applying the create new macro tutorial.
