Hi all,
We are trying to publish a page via the API, but it appears that when we apply any styles to things like DIV, TH, TD and other elements, is seems like the styles are removed at the time of the page being rendered.
When we look at the page in the history, we can see that the styles are applied correctly.
We are also getting inconsistent page creations, with some pages being fixed width, and other pages being full width.
We have looked but cannot find anything, but is there an article we have missed or is there some guidance about how we can do basic / standard formatting when creating pages via the API?
HTML template contains `div, style, css classes`:
but the confluence page does not show `div` and it removed `css class` and `style`
and i can see the red border in Version Comparison
@Khai Nguyen Confluence Cloud does not allow full html and css styling. These are filtered out during rendering.
Hi Marc, thanks for the reply.
We are not looking to do anything particularly crazy with styling, and if anything we would like to maintain the default confluence styles.
What we would like to be able to do is have items like TH's being bold, and in the example above we would have the TD content be full width (not 50%).
We would also like to be able to specify the page content as being full width as the pages are currently rendering at the narrow setting.
Is there any guidance on what styling is available, or what styling won't be stripped out?
Or is it a case of every bit of styling is stripped out when rendered?
