Question about how the Signature panel works

I have several pages, that were created before me, that utilize the Signature Panel Macro.  These panels utilize a Signatory Group.  I want to change that group; however, I feel that once I do, all of the persons who have already signed will have to resign, and that can be an issue.  

Is there a way that I, as an admin, can checkmark that they signed previously?  I've been experimenting with a cop of one of the pages, but I don't see a way to re-check mark that the original signers signed the document.
