Hello
I have built a site on my employers network using Confluence.
In this site is a page with news panels for several different technology areas.
My first option to provide the news was to glean stories from email, Google Alerts and RSS subscriptions and then add hyperlinks to the stories in the individual technology area panels. Kind of cumbersome and time consuming as I'm dealing with 100+ news sources.
I have seen the Confluence RSS Feed macro to import external content. So I was wondering if it would be possible to set up a RSS feed for each technology area on an external network (home ISP), and use the Confluence RSS Feed macro to automatically import the data to the aforementioned news panels from the feeds I have populated at home.
Any input greatly appreciated.
If you set up feeds that the server can access you can use the RSS feed macro to pull content into your employer's site.
