Hi there,
I am looking to add a form with a button that should submit form information to a specified email .
I tried using the form.aui element.I included variables in the template where Confluence will display a form prompting to supply values for the variables when user adds the page: Create a Page from a Template - Form fields displayed by the template. But this didn't work as expected.
Also, tried using 3rd party plugin to help with the feature: Forms for Confluence
This one did work but we don't want to go with this option.
Could you please confirm if there is any other built in feature that could help us with the same?
Thank You,
Harpreet Matharu
This isn't an answer for a built-in feature (as far as I know there isn't one), but I have had a similar situation to you. I also tried Forms for Confluence and didn't really get on with it. What I did find useful was ConfiForms by Vertuna. They've got some really good documentation examples and their support team is very helpful.
Pretty sure you can't do this out-of-the box, so would recommend looking at ConfiForms.
Thanks for a quick response @Thomas Bowskill
ConfiForms by Vertuna. looks good but I don't want to use a third party tool.
I was hoping to find a built in feature but couldn't find one. Thanks for the confirmation.

Well, you will need one for this case - as creating a button and drawing a form is half the way. You need to send an email when the form is submitted. And this is when you definitely need a help of some "service / app / plugin"
