Adding new Layout Section same as Section above

I'm adding several Layout sections to a page and because the new one is a single section, i have to modify it every single time I add a new section. Wastes a lot of time. I want to know how to add a section that has the same properties of the one above.

Hi Jim,

Are you using Confluence Cloud or Confluence Server?  I use Confluence Server, and if I'm not in Page Layout view I can simply copy the Section macro and paste it to create a new section with the same formatting.

Confluence Cloud. Layout Sections is what I was working with not the macro - don't need/want that much control/variability.

In a previous company, it seemed to just create a new section like the one above it.

I have a section with the 1/3rd to the right. When I add a new section, it's 2/3rds but centered - that seems odd to me.
