Anonymous access but no index

Hello 

 

I would like to open our KB to anonymous access but would like to remove it from Google search (no index) . Is it possible?  how it can be done?

Can anyone assist me with that?  remove it from Google search (no index) while working with a could version

Hello Keren,

 

Unfortunately, it is not possible to prevent Cloud instances from being indexed by Google search as the method to prevent this indexing cannot be done on Cloud products.

Thank you Nic. I forgot to mention that we are working with the cloud version.

Is there any solution for this?

By definition, anonymous access gives google access to scrape and index those pages.

But you can ask it not to index with a robots.txt file - https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/using-robots-txt-to-hide-from-search-engines-861253859.html is for Jira but the method is identical for Confluence.
