Hi guys!
i have 2 tables - clients and products.
For each row in table "clients" in column "product" i need to select one (or more) product names from table "products".
Previous time there was recommendation for plugin Orderly database , but permission settings of this plugin does not suit us.
Is there any other way to build this construction with related tables ?
Hi @Chasovskikh Kirill,
As @Juliette Lallement _Elements Apps_ has mentioned, the Excel-like cell data verification (a dropdown list made of the second table and used in the first table) may indeed be a good solution to your case.
If it happens so that you use our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app, you may do it with the help of the Table Spreadsheet macro.
Do you absolutely need to have two separate tables?
Could you consider two separate tabs from a spreadsheet document instead?
With the app Elements Spreadsheet , you can create lists from a selected range of cells containing values and apply these lists to one or several cells.
For example, you can create a spreadsheet document with two tabs:
- one with clients
- one with products
From there, you can create a list from the range of cells containing your product names and apply that list to relevant cells from the clients tab.
Would that work?
Best wishes

Hi @Juliette Lallement _Elements Apps_ !
Thank for the answer!
The main question is permissions. I need to have
- Page A with table Clients, with view and edit permissions for user abc, user xyz
- Page B with table Clients, with view and edit permissions for user def, user xyz
- Page C with table Clients, that contains rows from pages (tables) A and B , with view and edit permissions only for user xyz
and i need to have anywhere table Products, all values for column Name from these table must be available in all tables Clients in column Product
is it possible to create these functionality with Elements spreadsheet ?

I'm afraid you won't be able to set specific permissions with Spreadsheet...
