Applicationlink between JIRA and Confluence not working

Hi,

I am trying to create an applicationlink between JIRA and Confluence. It is not working as expected.

1. I logged in to JIRA as admin
2. I added a new application link.
3. Provided the confluence URL.
4. Pressed the "next" button.
5. In the nextpage provided the application name and application type as Confluence
6. The application link created without the incoming and outgoing authentication as none.
7. I went to the configuration
8. Enabled the out going the configuration
9. Now clicked the incoming configuration
10. In the trusted application provided the ip pattern like 10.250.*.*
11. Provided the URL as the JIRA URL
12. COnnection Timeout set to 100000
13. I am now getting error "Unable to retrieve the application's certificate: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused"

Can you please help me?

The same problem, Is there some full and sorted step-by-step instructions? It's so surprising why there is no some kind of instruction with SSL supported atlassian products

Are you using an https url? If so, you will have to import the target application's public certificate into the Java keystore of the source app.

See http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Connecting+to+SSL+services for similar stuff. It is the same principle.

Are you trying to make an application link between an OnDemand application and a local running application?

Hi,

We have the JIRA as well as the Confluence running locally on the same server. It is not an on Demand.
