I think this question has been asked a few times on Confluence,
I am wanting to apply the same restrictions to a parent page and ALL of the child pages beneath it. at
At the moment I have to go through each page individually and type in each persons name who I want to be able to allow editing access, however there are hundreds of pages so there must be a way to apply the exact same restrictions to all child pages?
As you can see from the screenshot, I wish to apply an editing restriction on the "Cataloguing" parent page, which applied to all of the child pages as well (i.e clickview videos, SCIS standards etc"
Any help would be much appreciated
Thank you
Hi @Josh ,
Unfortunately it's not possible. Child pages inherit View permission from their parent page, but Edit permission is not inherited.
