Are Microsoft Offce 64bit-Files supported by View File Macro?

The View File Macro, as documented in https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/view-file-macro-170494360.html, supports Office-Files. But what about the 64bit Office-Application?
Are these files also supported?

Our company is on the way to change to Microsoft Office 64bit. In some testings, the excel-files are not always diplayed in the confluence-pages. Is there an official documentation? 
I did not found anything. Does anyone have experience with this?

Hello @nealfisc 

You gave me a reminder, thanks. Now we are using 64bit Office-Application for quite a while and we did not have any issues with it any more. Currently with Confluence 7.3.5. We are on the way to upgrade to Confluence 7.13.0. Till now we have not been come to an issue.
