We are preparing to upgrade from Confluence 6.6.13 to 6.15.x. We currently have Collaborative Editing disabled. Will the Editor footer redesign be the same for us as spelled out in the 6.9 Release Notes?

Hi @Betsy Callahan ,

Great to hear that you're upgrading!

No, the editor footer redesign as per the 6.9 Release Notes will not be applied when you have Collaborative Editing disabled.

With Collaborative Editing disabled, the editor footer will be the same as the editor footer before Confluence 6.9.

Screenshots of the editor footer of Confluence 6.15.4, with Collaborative Editing disabled, are shown below:

After the page has been published once:

May I ask what is the reason(s) you have collaborative editing disabled?

Hello Emily, thank you for the response.

We have held off on enabling Collaborative Editing because there is an edge case bug which affected us that needs to be fixed first:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-51812

Our TAM team recommended we wait to enable it after it is resolved.
