Hi,

I'd simply like to create one data table (of columns with 4 headings) and repeat it as a macro in a number of other places so there is only one place to update/ one source of truth

Hi @Lara Kim Gresak ,

Try the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app.

This add-on includes the Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros that will fully cover your case.

Here is one of our latest blog posts describing how to reuse tables and aggregate data if required. Hope you'll find it useful.

Another solution lets you reuse any block of content: multiexcerpt

I have used this macro for years to enable easy reuse of blocks of content. In your case, you could host the table inside the source macro, then just pull it to wherever you need. I often have a single page in a space hold a bunch of blocks of reusable content.

Is that a religious position? ;-) That was why I was suggesting a more broad use case plug in -- more bang for the buck.
