Hello! We're trialing Atlassian Premium and are particularly interested in the Intelligence Intelligence search for product documentation. I was wondering if it can also search through the content included via smartlink (e.g., a Google doc) or embedded in the page, like PDF, or just the content written in the Confluences spaces themselves.
Thanks!
Atlassian Intelligence Search primarily indexes and retrieves content from Confluence spaces, so it works best with native Confluence pages. As of now, it doesn’t fully index the contents of Smart Links (like Google Docs) or embedded files such as PDFs.
However, if the document is attached to a Confluence page, some metadata and titles might be searchable. A workaround could be to extract key content from those external sources and add them as searchable text within Confluence. You might also explore Marketplace apps that enhance document indexing if this is a critical need.
