Hi All,
do you know what do we have to configure? Or which browser is/is not supported for this feature?
Is there any browser settings we missed?
Maybe we have to set sg in internet options....
we use 3.5.13 Confluence version.
Can you please help?
Regards,
Rumi
You should not need to configure anything to get this to work, but it will not work in all browsers.
The list of supported browsers can be found at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF35/Using+Drag-and-Drop+in+Confluence#UsingDrag-and-DropinConfluence-RequirementsfortheConfluenceDrag-and-DropFeature
If you are using IE9 then drag and drop will not work. The reasons for this are outlind here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=262471749
If you are using Chrome, then the latest update (Chrome19) introduced a bug which stops drag and drop from working. This is being investigated at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-25538.
If you use the latest versions of Firefox or Safari, then it should work with no problems.
Hope that helps,
Mark
Hi,
I checked the users browser: he's using Firefox 12 which is supported. And the interesting thing is that this feature works fine in Jira 4.3.4 for him with the same browser!!! Our Confluence is 3.5.13
What can be wrong?

I'm sorry, there was another problem which I forgot about. Firefox v7.0 introduced another incompatibility with this feature. See https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-23360 for details.
It was fixed in Confluence v4.1.2, so you would need to upgrade your instance to get the fix.

Yes, the problem affects all versions of Firefox from 7 to 12 inclusive.

Drag and Drop is not working for me with the following configuration:
Confluence 5.1.4
Xubuntu 12.10
Firefox 22.0
This seems to be an issue with Firefox: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_activity.cgi?id=609284
Drag and Drop works with Chrome 28.0 on Xubuntu 12.04, Confluence 5.1.4

There is a similar issue open already, see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-29799
You can watch that for updates.
