Attachments added to a question and removed from question remain on server?

Hello,

we can add attachments when using Confluence Questions, and we can remove the attachments as well. But I've noticed that the files are just unlinked from the question, and remain on the server => this can cause unecessary disk space growth, especially because then it is not visible nor accessible from the UI anymore.

Is that normal?

the bug has been reproduced by support team, at least on my configuration version (CFL 5.8.6 + CQ 2.1.4) => https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CQ-2146

Hello Gael,

I've just tested using Confluence 5.8.10 and Questions 2.3.0 and here's my results:

When you add an attachment to a Question, this attachment is stored in the CONTENT table. 

When you delete this Question, the CONTENT row that has this attachment information is deleted as well. 

If you use the file system storage in Confluence 5.8 and above, the Question's attachment is also deleted when you delete the Question.
