If I restrict a page as described here --> https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/page-restrictions-139414.html only the administrator is automatically added. Is it possible to add more users automatically or to add a group?
Hi Patrick,
The best thing to do is to take a step back and look at what we're trying to achieve, and if this can be achieved any other way.
It sounds like you're trying to restrict multiple pages, including new pages from automatically being seen by everyone.
Can this be achieved with space permissions (https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/space-permissions-overview-139521.html)? This automatically restricts all pages created in this space such that they're all subject to the same view/edit restrictions.
If this is not possible, can you add one parent page, and then create all new content under this page? Page permissions are inherited, so if you have one parent page with the correct permissions, this will flow down to the children pages. This may be more appropriate if you only want to restrict some content in the space.
If you provide some more detail, we might be able to come up with other solutions too :)
Hiii @Patrick Brauner
yes. If you write ifttt rules on for example modifying the page you can add the groups/users with your desired restriction
