We are heavily using the functionality of daily notifications to inform all our users about the changes happened in the last 24 hours.
But when the E-Mails are sent there is an issue with the format.
1) The information who has sent the E-Mail is right now "Anonym (RKWeb) info@n....". Anonym would be anomynous in english and RKWeb the name of our site. Is it possible to define the from name somewhere?
2) The E-Mail sent does also show an avatar which is blank or "?" at the moment, depending on the E-Mail client which is used. Can the avatar be set somewhere so that we can have a nice picture in the E-Mail head?
thanks,
Christian
1) You can change the "from" address of Confluence by configuring your outgoing mail options (http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Configuring+a+Server+for+Outgoing+Mail)
2) Not sure about this. What avatar is being sent? It should be the avatar of the user who generated the notification.
Thanks Joseph, but looks like if my statement was not 100% clear...
If a share a page or if I receive a notifcation I do see all the information which is required eg "Neureiter Christian (RKWeb)" with the according defined email address.
So far so good. Only the emails which are sent for the daily notifications, the one showing the daily report of updates does show following information: "Anonym (RKWeb)"
And as there is obviously no user, also no avatar is visible or it shows a question mark.

Can it be controlled which user is used to send the daily report of updates?
