We downgraded from Standard to Free Confluence plan. Our main usage of Confluence is Balsamiq, but we are over our storage limit for the Free plan. What limitations will we face on using Balsamiq? Will we be able to add or edit wireframes attached to existing Confluence pages? I understand we won't be able to create new pages.
Hi @Andy Lytle and welcome to the Community.
You can create new pages on Free Confluence - while the numbers of pages and spaces are not unlimited, the limit comes from the 2GB storage capacity.
I had hundreds of pages across over 10 spaces on my Free Confluence.
When it comes to the Balsamiq app for Confluence, the app should behave exactly as on Standard Confluence unless it uses permissions, roles and restrictions (those settings are not available on Free Confluence) or for some reason relies on pages being open to anonymous access (again, not possible on Free Confluence).
If you run into unexpected issues, I suggest that you contact the app vendor
Thanks - It looks like we have till 7/1/25 to free up space before we start facing restrictions on editing / creating pages. We normally attach wireframes to a project-related page, so the restriction on creating new pages would be annoying for us. We'll work on freeing up some space.
