Best way to upload Document on Confluence

I have 1000+ pages of document (word doc) which consists of screenshots, process and configuration content and also the embedded file in the document. I think there are four different ways i.e. are Export file, Word Macro, Ctrl +C option and File attached option. But I am facing the issue on all above the options like some of the screenshots are missing, in-consistency on Confluence space while loading the page on Space. 

Sometimes it really make me to think to shift from Confluence to Notion for Documentation.

This is certainly a very weak point for Confluence. Michelle's article details a lot of the limitations with the Word importer. One thing that's problematic is the way some images are stored within the docx format directly. It essentially keeps the importer from pulling these images in during import. This makes the process exceptionally difficult for folks like you with such a massive document.

I'm not sure if Notion handles situations like this better, since it's an issue with the docx format.

But, unfortunately, there's no one solution I can offer outside of Michelle's suggestions in this article. I can say that once you've gone through the pain of getting all the content into Confluence, it really is a great place to manage documentation. I've worked for two companies now who've had all our help content in Confluence. I did the full migration for the last one, manually, and it wasn't fun. But I'm glad I did.

Hi @Krupal Jawanjal welcome to the Atlassian community.

I understand that your are trying to upload or uploaded the word document to Confluence and then you are facing issues with it's content placement or display on the spaces. If yes, then please be informed their are multiple factors that contribute to the content display.

Few such factors: Root page title, Title conflicts, Split by heading, documents containing wiki markup etc..

I would request you to thoroughly check the "Import a Word Document into Confluence" and "Import content into Confluence Cloud" documents for details and steps.
