In the Global theme, the Blog section has a navigation pane on the left side with cascading dates -- this is great because it displays blog titles and groups them by month.
But in the Documentation theme (the theme we're using), the Blog section has zero navigation functionality (the pane is gone, all blogs are displayed fully with no previews or snippets, can't group by date, etc).
Is there a way to format the Blog in Documentation theme so that a user can navigate it? Anything would help. Thank you!
This issue sounds very similar to the issue we are having.
My solution was to add another page called "Blogs" and put it in the documentation side pane and not use the 'Browse > Blog' function at all. Then on this page I simply added a 'Blog Posts' macro on it which showed blogs in the given space, showing only title and ordering by date created descending. This gave you a reasonable overview of recent blogs in the space.
