@Christina Ristevski I was having the same issue - Browser settings slowing down whiteboard. I tried visiting try visiting https://fabric-compat-check.staging.atl-paas.net/  and thought to reply you, but I didn't get option to reply. So, posting a new question.

When I clicked, it showed me everything is fine. Got all Green tick marks, but the issue persist. Could you please help?

I see that you have run https://fabric-compat-check.staging.atl-paas.net/ to check for any incompatibilities, thank you for running it already!

Even though it might not have returned any error for now, given the many variables that could impact on performance issues there, we would need more information to identify this issue.

For example, we would ask you if this happens on different browsers, like Dan mentioned, and also check with you if you are still having these issues when trying to access it from a different machine, like from a personal computer, or another device and when trying on a different network.

Additionally, we would also ask if this happens in a incognito/in-private window, and if you are using VPN, we would request for you to try accessing your whiteboards after turning it off, to see if this could be something impacting on the performance.

Other than that, we would need to check further on logs (HAR file) and check if we can replicate the issue when checking the page mentioned having the performance issues.

If none of the tests above works, please talk to your site-admin to open a ticket on your behalf at https://support.atlassian.com/contact/, choosing the option "Technical issues and bugs" and choose the site affected + Confluence product.

Thanks a lot for your quick responses on this. To respond your questions / suggestions -

  1. Is this happening on different browsers? - I don't know as we are allowed to use only Microsoft Edge Browser. Hence, can't check on other browsers.
  2. Try to access it from a different machine / network - Can't access from anywhere else as I'm working for a client and allowed to use only the client provided VDI.
  3. Is this happening in a incognito/in-private window? - No.
  4. Are you using VPN? - No

Thanks for doing some of the tests, @Sivaramakrishna SV 

Having in mind you are not having the performance issues when in incognito/in-private window, this might indicate that possible extensions (if you have any installed in the browser) might not be working in in-private window, which could be one of the reasons, or, it can be the browser cached information itself.

In that case, please consider clearing Edge's cache and cookies from all time, to see if this could help with the issue, since this is not happening on incognito/in-private.

If this still doesn't work, we might need to check the page you are seeing to see if the issue is also happening on our side and try to generate some logs, and ask you to share it as well, that would be possible only through a support ticket.

If it persists after clearing the cache, please check with your admin if they can create a ticket for you.

Hi @Sivaramakrishna SV welcome to the community.  Are you aware of a specific setting that is slowing down the whiteboard?  Do you experience the same behavior if you use different browsers?  Are other users seeing the same issue that you have?  I took a quick look on Atlassian's Jira Site and didn't find any open issues.  I did flag this issue for Atlassian Support to look at, and I'm guessing they're going to ask similar questions that I'm proposing here.

If there's a repeatable behavior, Having Support weigh in should be a good thing.

If you don't hear back from Support, with your Premium license I would suggest opening a Support Ticket with as much detail as you have and get their input.
