Can Confluence 3.5 Gadgets work with Jira On Demand

Jason Lan May 14, 2013

Hello,

I am using Confluence 3.5 and just migrated to Jira OnDemand. In Confluence my Jira Issues gadget will not pull the data onto the confluence page now. The http in the URL is now Https so I am wondering if anyone knew if this was an internal firewall issue, something I need to change in my URL, or if the Confluence version 3.5 is just not compatible with Jira OnDemand.

Gracious!

When the switch was made to Https version of Jira there were permissions being blocked. Everything is up and running now

Greetings -

The short answer is that Applinks in Confluence 3.5 is not going to be compatible with OnDemand running JIRA 6. (The longer answer is that it is possible to configure the two, but they are running such different versions of AppLinks that you are very likely going to experience serious problems with the link).

Have you looked into upgrading that instance of Confluence to Confluence OnDemand? Your applinks and issue linking would be all setup out of the box.

Looks like it was a permissions issue on my companies end.
