Can I add a task to a database?

I'd like to use a Confluence database but don't know how to add a task from within the database. Is this feature supported?

Another thing to add here is that databases do not support rich text within text fields. With that, there's no option to add Confluence tasks within the cell. There's a feature suggestion related to that: CONFCLOUD-79291: Support for Rich Text in Confluence Databases text fields

As Fadoua mentioned, you can import Jira items to the database via import functions/options.

Yes you can, by clicking on the + under connect Jira.
