Can I add watchers to a page and it's children?

I would like to add watchers to pages and their children, without adding all children manually, and without adding them as watchers for the entire space.

• avoid over-notifying
• notify with relevant pages

You can try using this plugin. It is a free app. There is an open ticket with Atlassian for this feature for Cloud - CONFCLOUD-2853 and Server - CONFSERVER-2853.
