Hello,

I have a page with a parent table containing links to child pages that are also tables.

How can i add filters so that when i search for something in the parent table it appears the data from my child pages?

Hi Ricarda,

Maybe our Easy Dropdown Menu could make the life of your users even more easy. Change  values in the parent page, add Filters, making sure there are no typos, multi dropdowns, etc.

You find the Easy Dropdown Menu in the Marketplace.

Hello Richarda,

Most likely you are looking for Table Filter macro.

Also it would be helpful to see some screenshots to understand better your case.

Here is the parent table with links to the child pages:

And here is a child page:

My question is if i can add filters on the parent table to get data from the child page? Ex: add a filter for location on the parent table and all the child pages with that specific location will appear

I suppose Page Properties Report should do the trick:

  • Wrap all child pages' tables with Page Properties macros.
  • Add PPR macro to the parent page.
  • Filter PPR report with Table Filter macro.
