Can I link a task list to a spreadsheet?

I am using a Confluence page for onboarding and would like completing all the tasks (ticking all the task list) to result in updating a spreadsheet or add the users name to a list. 

I know how to insert a task list, the main issue is just whether the final box tick could lead to the action of adding that users details to a list to prove they have onboarded.

There is no native functionality that supports this particular use case, you would need to write a custom plugin to enable this functionality.
