I am not a developer so apologies if I don't use the correct terms. I am doing some initial fact finding about Confluence. One of the questions I am being asked is can we link or integrate (not sure what the correct term is) to other progams such as sales force? Are there any types of programs/software confluence can't be linked to or integrated with.
Thanks in advance for the help!!
Hi Mike, there are alot of integrations out there available for Confluence and an ever expanding amount of add-ons that can help with these integrations. Best place to start searching for a specific integration would be to do a quick search on Atlassian Marketplace. If you dont find what you need, there is an extensive API you can use to build your own integration or contact an Atlassian Expert for custom development if you want.
Any more specifics on what you are looking for in the way of integrations?
Thanks for the additional information Jesse. I think with knowing a plugin is available for Sales Force combined with your information about where to look for additional intergation info is what I need for now. As I suspected, integration is possible with a miriad of products.
I will pass all of this information on to the people I am doing this initial research for and see what happens. From here it is pretty much out of my hands. Rest assured however, that should any additional questions arise I will let you know.
Thanks again for everyone's help!!

Thanks Jobin.
I suspect that is what they are looking for but as I mentioned in my previous response, I will get some detail and come back with more specifics.

There is a Confluence CRM plugin that can be used to pull customer information from Salesforce to Confluence. Again, as Nic mentioned, it depends on what you really need!

Thanks for the quick response Nic.
While I have an idea of what they want, I will get with the appropriate people on my end and find out more detail. Again, thanks!! I will return with more specific information....hopefully tomorrow.

You can "integrate" it with anything that has a remote interface (i.e. can be talked to over a network). But "integrate" is such a vague word, it's functionally useless. The best answer I can give you to "can we integrate Confluence with something?" is just "yes"
The more important question is really "what do you want from the integration"?
