Hi. Has anyone else encountered this issue recently where you use the search bar to find pages you used to be able to easily access via search by typing the exact title (or using key words within the title) but the page doesn't come up? I end up having to go through the different spaces, parent pages to get to the article that way, but it takes much longer.
The rest of my team has noticed this too and it's something that has been happening very recently, within the past couple of weeks. :(
Hmm. That would be frustrating. I am able to search for exact page names in my Confluence Cloud instance. Have you tried doing a quoted search (exact phrase match)? It would be like this ...
"My glorious page title"
Hi Davin. Thank you for responding. It is frustrating! :(
I used to be able to search using exact page names but now it doesn't always work (sometimes does, sometimes doesn't, which is odd).
I tried the quoted search suggestion you provided with the pages that are no longer coming up for me via the exact title search that used to work, but it also didn't work. It actually brings up even fewer results when I try that method.
I'm wondering if this has to do with certain pages having labels while others do not. Do you think if some pages don't have key word labels attached to them, they become buried by others that do when we search using key words and/or specific titles?
