Can we avoid the striketrough comments and send just updates

Can we avoid the striketrough comments and send just updates. Currently if the user edits the comments the notification comes with a striketrough for deleted comments along with the new comments. 

Can this be skipped?

You could use automation to set a custom body, such as in the simple example below:

currently this is not possible to create custom email template (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-7266)

you can however use automation to send email with custom body
