Can we create table with list on our confluence page? We know that the table can be inserted in our page but do we have an option for setting up a list in the columns so that the users don't type and rather they just select the options under the list
By default it is not possible. Maybe there is a add-on that allows that.
Did you consider to use Confluence databases instead of tables on page? As i remember in Conflu DB select value in cell is possible.

Seba
Thanks for your suggestion, Sebastian. I will have to search for an add in. I need the table to be on the page as the table has to be on the page that I created.

I believe our Handy Macros for Confluence app could offer the functionality you're looking for. With the Handy Status macro, you can insert predefined status sets directly into table cells, allowing users to update them right in the view mode, without switching to edit mode.
If you're interested, feel free to book a live demo. I'd be happy to walk you through the app’s capabilities and answer any questions.
Best regards,

Hi @Gautam Sureshkumar ,
Great question! Our product team at Simpleasyty has been reflecting on this exact ask because we’re currently running an initiative to solve it. Right now, Simple Table for Confluence App supports four field types—Text, Date, Number, and Boolean—and we’re seriously considering adding a fifth “Dropdown” type. We believe a selectable field could be a valuable enhancement for many organizations.
To make sure we build the right thing, could you share more about the use case behind dropdown lists in your table? In particular:
What problem would this feature help you solve?
What kinds of options would you include in the list?
How would your team use these selections in day-to-day workflows?
Any details you provide will be invaluable as we shape this feature for production.
Looking forward to your insights!
