I have been trying to figure out if it is possible to link to sections of content on a project page from an external website.
My Issue:
One of our departments uses a website called A-Ha for project management on their end. We know how to link to image specific objects, however this ends up not being practical since these images can be potentially renamed, and thus the link from A-ha will become broken.
What I would like to do is link to specific titles on the page instead. It would look something like this...
From the Aha Website > This is a link to section 1 design requirements
From the Aha Website > This is a link to section 2 design requirements
What I would like to have happen is that the external link to section 1 will direct to section 1 in the document on Atlassian, and section 2 will direct to that specific section without the user having to scroll through the entire page, they will be taken there directly.
Is this possible?
Hi Nils,
I did try using anchors but for some reason I think the url isn't working. I am going to try and take another stab at it today.
