The Table Plus Macro is ideal for filtering, but it doesn't work very well and the bob swift confluence pages with documentation are not accessible unless you have some type of special account.

Anyway,  the problems are that you cannot copy/paste which is a fundamental need.  Is anyone else having this issue when using the Table Plus macro and do you have a solution?

Also, the table size doesn't match the size you see in the edit mode.  After publishing, the table size will often shrink quite a bit, making it not as readable.

I encountered this problem, too, exactly as you describe it.

There doesn't seem to be anything to do about the table resizing issue.

I did find a partial workaround for pasting text into the table while it's nested in a macro, by using "past as plain text" (Ctrl+Shft+V). The text is inserted at the cursor location. Of course, you lose all formatting and need to re-add links.

In my case, I needed to make the content available for review, and having it inside a macro was too complicated. We copied the table and pasted it outside the macro for review, and then when we were done, I inserted it into the macro again.

This is definitely an area that Atlassian should work on: i.e., ensuring that content inside a macro behaves and can be manipulated in all the ways content outside of macros can be.
