I used to be able to create Confluence report pages based on my Jira releases using the "Jira Report" page type (all my services are hosted in Atalsassian Cloud). Since last week I can no longer do that - I get an error "Cannot connect to Jira Server"
Other aspects of the Jira integration seem to be working OK, I get proper jira links an auto-suggestions in all other places, but this specific feature seems to be off.
The connection is also configured as described here
but I think it was auto-configured anyway since my platforms are fully managed by atlassian. The only Jira Integration that seems to be broken right now is the Jira Report feature
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)
Thanks
Hi @jbaseas,
welcome :)
Did you contact the support of the app vendor? Maybe they can help you.
But to me, it also looks like there is some problem in the cloud. Another reporting solution I can recommend is Report Builder. Always worked perfectly on all hosting variants.
Hey @jbaseas , welcome to the community!
If you would like to automate this documentation process and you are open to using a third-party application for your use case, we might have a solution for you.
With AutoPage, you can automatically create Confluence pages from Jira issues based on predefined triggers. For example, once an issue reaches the status “released,” a Confluence page is created and populated with predefined issue data.

Hope this helps!
Best regards

HI @jbaseas
The link shared is for Server/Datacenter versions of Jira.
This error mentions that too "Cannot connect to Jira Server" Being server the on prem version of Jira.
An application link might be configured to get that information from your on-prem instance.
If you are on cloud, edit a page and send us a screenshot of the macro you are trying to use.

Thanks for getting back. I am on Cloud.
The Macro I am trying to use is called "Jira Report" template and currently the "about" link, links to this "info" page:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/ConfCloud/JIRA+Report+Blueprint
Here is another page with a more accurate description of an older version: https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf65/jira-report-blueprint-939701027.html
Could it be that the template is no longer supported in the latest version for Cloud customers?

Hi
Those links are for confluence server. Seems that macro doesn't exist in cloud.
They might be left overs after the migration to cloud.
