I encountered an issue when working on a page in Confluence for a few hours. As I'd work on it I would occasionally publish my changes. Whilst I was doing this my internet connection wasn't the best and would occasionally drop.
On the last publish all seemed fine but I then noticed the page changed. The majority of the document was missing and the content that was there seemed to be a mesh between recent and old changes.
Any idea what could cause this?
I could not find my changes in the version history or anywhere else.
Thanks
Hi @Faris Keenan Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
As mentioned by Alexis, most of the times, the issue can be solved by clearing browsers cache.
Do you have any third party plugin/extensions installed in your browser ? Were you able to replicate the same on other browsers ?
Hey,
I use FireFox without any extensions. This is definitely an edge case issue so far, I've edited documents before and its saved fine. The difference is I spent a lot longer editing and my internet connection wasn't the best. I'll try and replicate the issue.

Hi @Faris Keenan ,
I have never had something similar happen, but I guess a bad connection could mean that some changes were not saved or there was an inconsistent state at some time.
You could also try to clear your browser cache and log in again to see if somehow it's an issue on your side.
Let me know if this helps,
