Changing Restrictions on a page that an Administrator does not have permissions to view

I think that Atlassian needs to create some kind of view of all pages and their restristions.

To do some testing, we restricted a page to be viewable only by me. We then found that another admin could not go and edit the restrictions on the page, and remove the restriction that I created.

There is a list of Pages with Restrictions in the Spaces Admin, is it possible for any Admin, to edit the restrictions, or only the person that created the restriction?

Thank you.

If you are a member of confluence-administrators group, you can do it. Remember, not just an admin but a member of that group. The group has 'special' rights!

We have Active Driectory for our user directory.

So, the order of user directories is:

* Our AD Server

* Confluence Builtin Directory

When i try to add a user to the confluence-admin group, nothing happens. I suspect that this is because Confluence is trying to update that group in Active Directory, which does not exist there, but cant update the Confluence local dir.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
